The most outstanding and remarkable feature of Stock Cheerful Series is that about 90% of the plants priduce double flowers without selection during the seedling stage. A very substantial savings in both labor and time for the professional cutflower grower. Both Cheerful White and Yellow produce voliminous sweet-sented blooms about 5.5cm. (2 inches) across. Extra early and des not require low temperatures for bud initiation. In cool areas, from June sowing, cutflowers can be harvested in September, and in warmer locations from August sowing flowers in November. Cheerful has uniform plant habit,, strong stemmed, non-branching pubescent leaves.
